Yesterday I filmed the little rascals again. Meanwhile they are real little Springers.
This week the litter will be checked by the Breed Warden. And then the time will come to say "Good bye" to the puppies. But this time a few will stay a little longer...
24.05.2015
Today we had a lot of fun evaluating our puppies with friends from the Setters. We also took photos together.
I think the results are quite nice. Claudia has a real gift to put puppies into the stand!
If you like to see the photos of the single puppies please go to the German Site of the J-litter. You
will find the photos under the date of May 24th, 2015.
22.05.2015
Today I got a few photos and a video from our Dummy-Trainer Svenja of our local Dummy-Training Group. She did with the puppies an early Dummy-Training. I wonder if in this litter will be some "Dummy-masters"?
We will wait and see... Obviously the puppies (and the trainer) had a lot of fun!!
20.05.2015
Almost every day our puppies get visitors. Sometimes friends, neighbors but mainly the new "puppy owners to be" are visiting.
Well, is this here called early puppy socialisation?
14.05.2015
Our little ones turned 5 weeks today. Time to move to another place - the doghouse outside.
As you can see they started to explore their new property right away and lots of fun!
During nights they will continue to sleep in the house.
11.05.2015
The pups are 4 weeks and 3 days old.... and they are really active now.
They love all kinds of food, but most of all minced meat. In a few days they will move outside...
01.05.2015
Time flies, our puppies are already three weeks old. Their little teeth are breaking through now. Today they had - more or less on their own - their first puppy meal after they got already a
few days small meat balls. They liked it very much, although I need to say that we still have to practice proper table manners!
26.04.2015
Today we put up the "Indoor-Playground" for the puppies. Well, as they get more and more active they need more space - not only for playing and fun but also for doing their first potty-training!
Quite essential to learn this as early as possible...
We also took the last couple of days some photos which you will hopefully enjoy.
23.04.2015
The puppies are opening their eyes. They are more and more active. Tomorrow I will post some photos.
21.04.2015
The puppies are developing really well. Yesterday the biggest male hit already the 1000 g - mark!
And today two puppies showed really tiny eye lids. That means in a few days there will be lots of activity in the whelping box... The video is from yesterday.
16.04.2015
Since yesterday I have a new toy - I have a new and modern camera. I am really looking forward to exploring all the features she is offering as well as hopefully learning to take good photos. It
also offers to tape videos.... Of course I needed to try it out. This is the result...and I think it is not that bad for a first try!?
15.04.2015
Our puppies are developing very well. We have two puppies and four "pufferfish". The males are growing really fast. Especially the liver-white one is very chubby.
12.04.2015
The life of the puppies is mainly sleeping, having a drink, sleeping, having another drink, sleeping and again having a drink! Well, luckily they go for milk...
Today we took some photos, something what the puppies didn't really enjoy.
The Copyright of the all the photos in this series is mine.
Now I would like to introduce the puppies.
First our lovely gentlemen! Three black and white boys and one liver white.
Our two ladies complete the litter and they both are black and white beauties.
Male number 1 has a lot of white. At his birth he had 454 g.
Male number 2 is a lot darker. He is the one who was the heaviest at birth - 478 g!
Male number 3 is again black and white.
He was at his birth with 416 g the smallest in the litter.
His brother (male number 4) is the only liver/white puppy of the litter.
His weight at the birth was only one gramm more, he had 417 g.
Girl number 1 is again black and white.
She is bigger than her sister with a birth weight
of 436 g.
Last but not least girl number 2 in black and white.
She had 426 g at her birth.
This little lady has an interesting pattern on her back. It looks like the logo of a famous outdoor manufaturer. Maybe she will be a real fashion girl in the end and will love to show herself in
the ring!?
For today we will stop... and take care again of the puppies, so that they will grow properly.
09.04.2015
Our puppies were born April 9th. We have 4 males (3 black/White, 1 liver/White) and two girls, both black/white.
Mother Lotta and her puppies are all well. Very soon you will find more Information on each puppy here.
05.04.2015
Meanwhile the room for the birth of our J-litter is prepared. Lotta has approved the whelping box.
Lotta and I have slept the first two nights in the "whelping room". Now the puppies can come... But I think it will take a few more days.
31.03.2015
Lotta is already at day 53. And she gets rounder and rounder every day. We are not doing a lot of activities with her, it's just not possible any longer.
Her daughter, Ilse, from the last litter has some difficulties to understand that her Mum doesn't want to sleep at night in the same bed with her. And that although the size of the bed is L. Two
Springers just won't fit!
22.03.2015
Today we took a few pictures of Lotta, it is day 45! Well, Lotta was not really pleased with this Action, but I think the pictures show that she is in whelp and that we can hope for a few
puppies...
13.03.2015
It is now five weeks ago that Lotta has been mated. Meanwhile it is visible that she is expecting puppies. We are looking forward to the litter!
06.02.2015
We are back from our hopefully successful trip to Sweden. Lotta "Desperados Charlotta At Belauer See" has been mated to Musse "Sanque's Dreamchaser".
We hope now for puppies around April 9th. You will find more Information on the combination underneath.
The next litter in the Kennel "vom Belauer See (FCI)" will be the J-litter. Most likely our English Springer Spaniel "Desperados Charlotta At Belauer See" will be first in season. We
are expecting her season middle or end of January.
Father of this litter will be hopefully "Sanque's Dreamchaser", who is called Musse. He lives at Kennel"Sanque's" in Sweden. During a vacation on sommer 2014 to Sweden I met Musse for the first
time. My intention was to look at other Sires. But Musse was also there and I liked him from the very beginning. I have been more interested in his litter brother "Sanque's Cut To The Chase"
(Theo), who lived already in England at the time of my visit. Theo een very successful at shows. At Crufts 2014 he won the RCC.
His litter brother Musse has been shown sparingly at shows. He is a bit in the wind shadow of his brother. Musse got a few times "Excellent" at shows and was placed and received CK which means
"Champion Quality". Beside some physical attributes I like he has a very nice and friendly character. He is a very compatible male.
Until a few months ago I owned the half sister of Musse "Deb's Cortina" (Jule). She is not only
a very beautiful English Springer full of breed type but also a very cosy and extremly lovely bitch. Jule is also a Springer which loves to work. Meanwhile she is a quite successful English
Springer in Dummy work and Rally Obedience. My goal has always been to combine the line of Jule with the line of Lotta. Unfortunately Jule had never any offspring. Therefore I decided to use
her half brother on Lotta. Jule and Musse have the same father - Calvdale Car Chase. I know a number of offspring after Calvdale Car Chase which work very successful in different countries. Many
are successful in Dog sports and some are even used for hunting. The mother lines of Musse and Jule trace also back to the same ancestors.
The inbreeding coefficient (COI) of this litter is 0,00 %, ALC is 100 %, which means that there are no duplicate ancestors ffound in five generations (62 ancestors).
Now I will introduce the parents of the planned litter to you:
